absE
The absE theme for Tiki CMS/Groupware by Gary Cunningham-Lee (chibaguy) is inspired by and uses some graphics from the absE theme for Openbox (Linux window manager) by crimeboy (www.box-look.org (cache), celo.wordpress.com (cache)); and it uses the layout methods of litecss, the source ordered layout solution by luci (sourceforge/projects/litecss (cache)). It is released under the LGPL license.Download:
Using with TikiWiki 3
Older template files should be removed (templates/styles/abse/ should be emptied) and then the new files put in place. The older files aren't compatible with Tiki 3. Otherwise, using the theme is straightforward. Site identity options and so on can be configured on the Look and Feel admin page, as with other themes.Using with TikiWiki 2
The absE theme's CSS file now imports styles/lite/lite.css so be sure that file is installed (it's there by default so should be in place unless it was removed). As before, the theme uses the Look & Feel feature (which in TW2 incorporates what was called Site Identity in earlier Tiki versions). You can use either custom code, or the site identity options (logo, banner ad) or both. (A more detailed description of how to use Look & Feel in TW2 is coming soon.)
The number of files in the absE package is greatly reduced from before, so if your site is a 1.9 upgraded site that had absE installed, you should delete the old files in templates/styles/abse and styles/abse and then add the new ones. In particular, be sure templates/styles/abse/modules is deleted, along with any other 1.9-era files in absE's directories.
Using with TikiWiki 1.9.*
The theme's page header area uses the Site Identity feature, either custom code or SI options.absE_Before_Installing
